Our Story

History &Traditions

From a bold vision to one of Punjab’s most respected institutions — the story of Cadet College Jhang is a story of purpose, perseverance, and pride.

Cadet College Jhang was established in 2007 with a singular mission: to provide the youth of Central Punjab with a world-class military-inspired education that would unlock doors otherwise closed to them. Founded on the banks of the Chenab, in the heartland of Punjab, CCJ was conceived not merely as a school but as an institution of national purpose.

Within its first decade, CCJ established a Girls Campus — one of the earliest cadet institutions in Central Punjab to do so — signalling a commitment to inclusive excellence that set it apart from its peers. Today, with over 400 cadets enrolled and more than 2,000 alumni serving across Pakistan’s armed forces, civil service, and professional sectors, CCJ stands as a living proof of what vision combined with discipline can achieve.

2007

Foundation

Cadet College Jhang established at 4 KM From M-4 Motorway Toba Interchange, Jhang , Punjab, Pakistan. First batch of cadets enrolled for Class 8 and Class 9.

2012

Federal Board Affiliation

CCJ formally affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) — ensuring nationally recognised qualifications for all cadets.

2013

Best Cadet College of Pakistan Award

Recognized as the Best Cadet College of Pakistan, an achievement that reflects the institution’s enduring commitment to excellence in education, discipline, and leadership development.

2014

Girls Campus Established

Launch of CCJ’s dedicated Girls Campus — a landmark moment making CCJ one of the first cadet colleges in Central Punjab to offer residential military education to young women.

Award for Pakistan's First Girls Cadet College

Cadet College Malir Karachi Established

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Block Inaugurated
